Who can apply?

Candidates are required to be master’s student in art history duly registered in a higher education or research institution in a country from the European Union in 2024-2025 regardless of nationality.

Applications will be evaluated according to the quality of the presentation of the research topic, the justification for a trip to France and finally the degree of preparation for this trip (identification of resources or sources to be consulted and a correctly assessed budget).

Application Process

  • a cover letter addressed to the Directrice du département des études et de la recherche de l’INHA. The cover letter should include a description of the proposed research project, the reasons for the research (specifying which institutions and collections / archives will be consulted), the duration and the period of stay,
  • a curriculum vitae,
  • a letter of support from the research supervisor,
  • a budget for the proposed research project,
  • copy of a student card valid for the year 2024-2025.
